A fine welcome, and real quality

We booked the Orangery before the works had begun. Hakim sold us a promising project and reassured us by his professionalism. No regrets! The room is magnificent, with its giant chandelier and its glass roof. The estate is large enough, with varied areas — trees, gardens, an open-air dance floor, a pool — to create whatever atmosphere you want. Dealing with Hakim and Céline was easy, and they guided us throughout the project. Our guests were full of praise for the estate.

The château of a dream ✨

We were lucky enough to work with Hakim, the owner of the château, and we could not be happier. From the outset he was responsive, attentive and able to answer all our questions, which put us at ease immediately. He also advised us on organising the wedding and on choosing suppliers, which was invaluable. Our families surprised us with fireworks, and Hakim handled the whole thing, making that moment absolutely magical. The Orangery was beyond our expectations, and the many options Hakim offered made the day more beautiful and more our own. We warmly recommend him to anyone who wants a wedding organised calmly, in an exceptional setting, at Château Saint Germé.

Exceptional

This place and Mr Safty's team are quite simply exceptional. I have no words to describe how magical our wedding was, and it is largely thanks to Mr Safty — his support, his availability, his kindness and his keen sense of organisation. You can trust him completely and go in with your eyes closed, because he always tries to do his best for the couple so that you can enjoy your big day.

Worthy of a fairy tale

We were lucky enough to celebrate our wedding in this exceptional place, and we could not have dreamt of a finer setting for such a moment. The château is quite simply magnificent, with its elegant drawing rooms straight out of a Disney film. Special mention for the Orangery, bathed in light through its tall glazed bays and crowned by sumptuous chandeliers that bring a touch of magic once night falls. And what to say about the fireworks… A suspended, grand moment that amazed all our guests and made the evening even more unforgettable. We leave with imperishable memories and hearts full of gratitude. An exceptional place that we recommend without hesitation for something as precious as a wedding.

Frequently asked questions

Answers to the questions we are asked most often.

01How many guests can the château hold?
The Orangery holds up to 350 people, and the Bergerie up to 110 for smaller weddings or as a fallback.
02Which room should I choose: the Orangery or the Bergerie?
The Orangery is our main reception room, ideal for larger weddings of up to 350 guests, with a view of the château from its glazed bays and terrace. The Bergerie, more intimate, suits weddings of up to 110 guests perfectly, or serves as a fallback in poor weather.
03Can the ceremony be held outdoors?
Yes. The park offers two favoured spots: beneath the centuries-old trees for an intimate, cooler setting, or facing the fountain with a view of the château.
04Is parking easy on the estate?
Yes. A car park is provided away from the reception areas, to keep the photographs and the estate looking their best.
05Can you provide pitches for camper vans or tents?
Yes, the estate has dedicated camper van pitches and spaces for tents.
06Can we stay on site on the wedding night?
Yes. The Marie-Antoinette Suite looks out over the park, the fountain and the Pyrenees.
07Does the château impose a caterer?
The château provides a fully equipped catering kitchen in each reception room. You are free to use the caterer of your choice; a list of partner caterers can be suggested.
08Can we use our own suppliers: DJ, florist, wedding planner?
You may use the supplier of your choice. If you wish, our book of trusted suppliers is available to make your planning easier.
09Is there a coordinator on site on the day?
Day-of coordination is offered as an option, in addition to hiring the venue. It provides a dedicated presence throughout your day to oversee the running of the event, coordinate outside suppliers and handle the unexpected, so that you can enjoy your wedding without a single logistical worry.
10How late can the evening run?
We impose no closing time. We do ask that the music in the Orangery be turned down, out of consideration for our neighbours.
11Can we hold a civil ceremony?
The estate adapts to every arrangement: a civil ceremony in the park or in one of our rooms.
12Can the château be hired exclusively for a whole weekend?
The château is offered on an exclusive-hire basis only.
13How far ahead should we book?
The usual recommended lead time is 12 to 18 months. Some dates do remain available: contact us for more information.
14What is the deposit and cancellation policy?
50 % on booking and 50 % at the start of the year of the wedding.
15Is the château available all year round?
Yes.
16Is the estate accessible to people with reduced mobility?
Our reception rooms are accessible to people with reduced mobility, as is one room at the Auberge hotel.
17Are pets allowed?
The couple's own pets are welcome.
