The site collects data only when you fill in the contact form. We then record:

— your name; — your email address; — your telephone number, if you provide it; — the nature of your project, the intended date and the number of guests, if you provide them; — your message; — the language you were browsing in; — your IP address and the time of sending.

The IP address is kept solely to limit automated submissions. Nothing else is collected without your knowledge: browsing this site is not measured by any analytics tool.

This data is used only to answer your enquiry and, where relevant, to prepare a proposal.

The legal basis is the taking of pre-contractual steps at your request, under article 6(1)(b) of the General Data Protection Regulation.

Your data is neither sold, rented, nor used for advertising.

Enquiries are kept for TO BE CONFIRMED — three years is the usual period from the last exchange, then deleted.

If a booking follows, the data needed for the contract is kept for the statutory periods applicable to commercial records.

Your data is accessible to the estate's client relations staff, and to the following technical providers acting on our instructions:

— OVH SAS (France) — hosting of the site and database; — Brevo, Sendinblue SAS (France) — delivery of notification and confirmation emails; — Calendly LLC (United States) — online appointment booking, only if you open the calendar.

Calendly is established outside the European Union. The transfer relies on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

This site sets no cookies and uses no local storage for tracking. Verified on 11 September 2026 across every public page.

Two exceptions, both under your control:

— the booking calendar loads only when you click “Book a visit”. Calendly then sets its own cookies, governed by its policy; — the map on the Contact page is provided by OpenStreetMap, which receives your IP address when it is displayed.

As long as you use neither, no third party is contacted.

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and object to the processing of your data, as well as the right to data portability.

To exercise them, write to contact@chateausaintgerme.fr setting out your request. You will receive a reply within one month.

If that reply does not satisfy you, you may refer the matter to the French data protection authority (CNIL), 3 place de Fontenoy, 75007 Paris — www.cnil.fr.

The site is served exclusively over HTTPS. Enquiries are stored in a database that is not reachable from outside, and access to the administration area is password-protected and rate-limited.

No system being infallible, we ask you not to send sensitive information through this form — health data, bank details.
