Four seasons on the estate

We are often asked which is the best time of year to marry here. There is no right answer — only four different settings.

The château is available all year round, and each season changes the nature of the day. Here is what we see, year after year.

Spring — new light

The lime trees come out, the park regains its colour, and the golden façade stands against fresh green. Temperatures allow a ceremony beneath the centuries-old trees without hunting for shade.

Summer — the long evenings

The most requested season, and the most generous: drinks stretch out on the terrace, night falls late, and the park lit with strings of lights carries the celebration on. Book early: Saturdays from June to September often go eighteen months ahead.

Autumn — the season people forget

The avenues turn copper, the light comes in low and flatters photographs. Temperatures stay mild into November, and the Bergerie with its fireplace comes into its own.

Winter — bare stone

Less foliage, more architecture: the slate roofs and turrets finally read clearly. Receptions move indoors, and the heated Orangery with the château lit up does the rest.

  • Outdoor ceremony: April to October, weather permitting
  • Indoor fallback available in any season, at no extra venue cost
  • No closing time, whatever the period
